Soccer benefit pictures!

The soccer benefit was last night at the national stadium here in Tegucigalpa. It was a beautiful time with with tons of Honduran soccer stars! I'm not sure on the attendance numbers but the turnout seemed very good. The kids had such a good time, especially getting to meet their heros. Thank you to everyone who showed up or donated. God bless you!

Soccer benefit!

Manuelito is excited to be hosting an event this Thursday in Tegucigalpa! There will be a soccer game between local Honduran stars and Honduran stars who play outside of Honduras. It will be hosted in the stadium and we would like you to come! The event starts at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 22nd. If you'd like we will be accepting donations of shoes and clothes. Please tell all your friends and family because it should be a fun time and you'll be able to see all your favorite players! Also if you are outside of Tegucigalpa but would still like to help support the project you can still purchase a ticket! Just contact one of our personnel or use the contact form on this page to let us know. See you there!

Harmony visits Manuelito!

This week we were blessed to have a team from Harmony Christian Church from Indiana with us! The team flew in to Tegucigalpa on the 13th and will be heading back tomorrow (the 20th). We are so thankful for your visit, the lives of the children have been impacted greatly. The children were fortunate enough to have the group come during a national holiday week where they didn't have school! So the kids could be surrounded by the love and support of the team at all times! We thank you all for the hard work you put into our new multi-function building, which will one day house future work teams and our medical room, and on the bodega. Thank you for investing in the lives of these children. This project could not operate without the continued love and support of people like you. We hope you all had an enjoyable and fulfilling time this week, and that God has revealed Himself in new ways.

God bless!

Thank you Laura and Susan!

From all of us at Manuelito we would like to thank Susan Leonard and Laura Ralfs, from St. Peters, MO, for coming down to visit us! Susan and Laura came down for a week in the beginning of June. They took the kids at the transition house to Aqua Splash their first day here! I've never seen the kids so happy! The rest of their week was spent in Talanga loving on the children and letting them know that they have so many people who care deeply for them. We were so blessed to have you two and look forward to seeing you again pronto!

New Years Update

Dear brothers and friends donors of Manuelito Project:

For the perfect and sovereign will of God we have reached the end of another year, and as said by the prophet Samuel with happiness and joy we can also say: “Eben- ezer, So far the Lord has helped us.”
No doubt that 2010 has been a tough year of hard work, many challenges, but God has been good and has answered our requests almost immediately, some of these blessings are detailed below for you to enjoy with us seeing the miracles that our God has done.

1. The creation of “ Liceo Cristiano Rev. Jorge Alberto Pinto”.

2. The conditioning of the place were the Liceo Cristiano is going to operate temporarily.

3. The visit of EMI for the elaboration of the Master Plan for the Project. (Education Center incorporated)

13. Thanks giving service by consecration for Flores-Pinto Family. 14. Pamela Medina’s sweet 15.15. Miguel Angel Guerra’s concert. (all the benefit was for the project.) 16. Thanks giving service for our graduated kids.

17. Christmas celebration and lunch. (This was a donation from Roche trough the Doc. Florencia Padilla and Friends of Manuelito Honduras)

18. Christmas Dinner. (We had the blessing to see brothers, friends and guests and between them we had Samuel Caballero and a group of Professional Honduran Soccer players.)

The things mentioned above are just some of the wonderful things God has done this year. We will receive the 2011 and all its challenges with the best of our attitude and the security it gives us having such a powerful God and friends and brothers like you who have walked with us throughout this year.

It is our prayer that God bless you, bless you family, bless and prosper your finances and to multiply a hundred times the work of your hands.

On behalf of the Board, all staff working in the Project Manuelito and every child receive our gratitude for supporting this Ministry with your prayers, donations and offerings, we wish you happiness this Christmas and New Year and we invite you to walk along with us and this way be part of the wonders that God will do in 2011.
